We are committed to ensuring that all employees along the production chain, from cotton farmers to fabric and yarn manufacturers to seamstresses, are paid fairly and work under humane conditions. Transparency is everything: we show who is behind every piece and why fairly produced fashion is the only way we want to go.

Our cooperation with the Eyes of Light Foundation Ghana's tailoring training project is at the heart of our work. We want to provide the young women with free vocational training and long-term career prospects.

For us, radical transparency is more than just a principle - it is the standard by which we measure ourselves. We want you to know exactly what is behind every item of clothing: Who made it, where the materials come from and how the price is arrived at.
Every price at NAO Studios is openly itemized - from the cost of fabric, yarn and care label to transportation and contributions to the Eyes of Light Foundation's education project. There are no hidden items, no inflated margins. Our aim is to create honest fashion at a fair price, without compromise.
Our supply chain is also as transparent as possible. The partners we work with share our values and show where their materials come from. For each product, you can trace where the cotton comes from, where the yarn was spun and where the fabric was woven.

Holistic Approach
For us, slow fashion means thinking about fashion holistically - from the initial idea to the end of the product life cycle. Every item of clothing we design is manufactured with the aim of keeping our ecological footprint as small as possible.
That's why we use natural materials for our fabrics, yarns and care labels. This results in products that are fully recyclable and biodegradable - fashion that protects the environment instead of polluting it.
We also reuse fabric remnants left over from cutting and transform them into practical accessories such as hair ties, meditation eye cushions or small bags. For us, every leftover fabric is a new opportunity to avoid waste and use resources consciously.
